1.       BACKGROUND

As part of the Municipality’s Development Plan Review, we are accepting re-designation requests from any property owner that wants to change the designation of their property. We have created a specific application form for regular re-designation requests from property owners.

2.       DEADLINE

All Regular Applications must be completed and submitted to the Municipality by November 3, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Late applications will not be accepted.

After the application intake period is closed, the Municipality will thoroughly review all applications received. The review could take several months. All applicants will be notified to indicate if their requests for designation change have been tentatively accepted by Council. There is no guarantee that a designation change request will be approved. The revised Development Plan Review requires Minister approval.
