On the date, time, and location shown below, a Public Hearing will be held to receive representations from any persons who wish to make them in respect of the following matter:
Rural Municipality of Taché By-Law No. 10-2025
being a New Development Plan By-Law for the Rural Municipality of Taché
Place: Rural Municipality of Taché Council Chambers, 28007 Mun Road 52N, Dufresne
Date & Time: September 22nd, at 6:30 P.M.
Intent: This Development Plan shall provide direction for future land use and development in the Rural Municipality of Taché, in the best interests of the RM and its residents. The Development Plan will continue to provide the RM a set of fundamental planning policies and objectives that will apply to the development and use of land, as well as maps which outline land use designations for all areas within the municipality.
- The general objectives seek to preserve and develop what is desirable in the RM, while minimizing conflicts between land uses.
- The policies are courses of action to be followed by the RM to attain the general objectives.
- Maps designate Town, Village, Rural Living, Escarpment and Agriculture Policy Areas within the RM, each with different policies to guide future development.
The proposed Development Plan By-Law is an update to the Rural Municipality of Taché’s existing Development Plan, with modest policy changes and slight mapping changes.
