Emergency Preparedness Week is an annual event that takes place each year during the first full week of May. This year it takes place from May 6 - 12, 2018.
Emergency Preparedness Week is a national awareness campaign coordinated by Public Safety Canada and is about increasing individual preparedness - by knowing the risks, making a plan and preparing a kit you can be better prepared for an emergency.

Level I – Fires are allowed in approved receptacles. Open-air fires are allowed, any person who wishes to cause an open-air fire must notify the R.M. of Taché Fire Department of their intent.

Garbage/Recycling/Yard Waste Collection Day Change - Canada Day
Notice to LUD of Lorette and Wards 1, 2 & 3 residents regarding garbage, recycling & grass/leaves collection for next week.
With Canada Day falling on Tuesday next week, which is the regular collection day in these areas, please note that garbage & recycling, grass/leaves collection in the LUD of Lorette, and recycling collection in wards 1, 2 & 3 will occur on Monday June 30th. Please ensure all materials are out by 7:00AM on Monday June 30th.
