Public Notice - COVID-19
COVID-19 UPDATE March 18, 2020
Dear Residents of Taché,
Thank you for your continued patience during these uncertain times. On the advice of the Province of Manitoba to ensure social distancing and for the safety of Council, staff and the residents of the RM of Taché, the Municipality will be closing the following facilities to the public until further notice:
CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC - Municipal Administration Office effective 5:00pm, March 18, 2020. There will be staff available to assist with telephone and email inquiries during regular operating hours. For the payment of invoices please pay on-line, send a cheque by regular mail, or drop a cheque off in the afterhours mailbox in front of the RM office. - Monominto Transfer Station – Effective 5:00pm, Saturday, March 21, 2020. A garbage drop-off bin will be provided for residential garbage only at the Ste. G’s General Store – 50182 Mun 41E, Ste Genevieve.
All other garbage is to be brought to the Lorette Landfill at 48028 Mun 25E (Gendron Rd near Lorette) Currently, the Municipality is working diligently to maintain other services such as garbage pick-up (Lorette & Landmark) and Municipal Wide Curbside recycling pick-up.
The following Municipal facilities will also be closed effective immediately until further notice • Landmark Arena • Landmark Kinsmen Community Centre • Lorette Thrifty Treasures • Lorette Community Complex (Arena & Curling Club) • Bibliothèque Taché Library
